Letter from USS Mark AKL 12
The YTB 785 assisted the USS Mark AKL 12
when she lost rudder control
going down the Long Tau River in November 1970.
It was strange that the tug boat was only
a hundred yards away when the rudder jamed.

Matty Veneziano .
