I was lucky enough to go out on three PBR mission.
The last was a Probe for the first Flaming Arrow mission
at the start of 1968. We were a single boat and we could not
draw any fire or activety. The next morning going home we
passed the main force of 18 PBR,s Later I found out it was
a trap for them they lost many. Thay are in my heart and sol. It was a wild time then. When I got back to the USAF
my First Shirt found out some how and I was chew out.
All the best to my brothers in the NAVY.
